Palfinger Marine, a global provider of lifesaving marine equipment, has successfully extended its ERP platform to its production facility in Vietnam, with support from Mazeppa.
The company already uses Infor LN across several international locations. As production in Vietnam expanded, the need to align the factory with global processes and systems became increasingly important.
Until recently, the Vietnam factory relied on local accounting software and Excel-based processes to manage production.
As volumes increased, this setup no longer provided sufficient control or visibility. To support further growth, Palfinger decided to implement Infor LN as part of its global ERP platform.
The objective was to standardise processes, improve data quality and ensure full integration with the company’s global operations.
This rollout gives Palfinger Marine full visibility into operations at the Vietnam factory. It enables better cost monitoring and project management, and supports a seamless connection to their global processes, says Stepan Ludvik, Country Manager at Mazeppa.
For companies operating across multiple production sites, extending a common ERP platform is essential to ensure consistency, control and efficient collaboration across locations.
Mazeppa supported Palfinger’s internal team throughout the rollout, helping facilitate key decisions and ensure a smooth implementation.
The transition was completed without major deviations and is now fully operational.
The project highlights the importance of combining local execution with global standards when scaling manufacturing operations across countries.
Palfinger Marine delivers lifeboats and davits to shipyards and vessel owners worldwide, operating in highly regulated environments.
This requires full traceability and documentation throughout the production process, capabilities that are supported through a standardised ERP platform.
